Another photo from firearms qualification. Firearms training requires officers to shoot at still targets from varying distances and in various situations. This particular drill requires officers to use their weapon in both a standing and one-leg kneeling position. An officer never knows when, where or how he/she may be required to use his/her weapon on duty so the Hatfield police department trains for a variety of situations.
